Environmental Policy
The Norway Inn dates back to the 19th Century and provides good food and in the picturesque village of Perranarworthal The Norway is a Managed public house, belonging to the St Austell Brewery Estate.
All staff at the Norway Inn recognise that our business activities have an impact upon the environment. We are therefore committed to reduce any negative impacts and maximise those which are beneficial.
Our impacts upon the environment have been identified as:
• Energy use
• Water use
• Waste management
• Use of resources
To ensure we reduce our environmental impact and improve our environmental performance, we will:
• Meet all legislative requirements
• Reduce our energy consumption by undertaking energy efficient management
• Reduce our water consumption by installing water saving devices and encourage our guests to be water wise
• Review our waste streams and reduce, reuse and recycle
• Work with our suppliers to ensure that we reduce our packaging to a minimum
• Locally source products or services, which boosts local economies, reduces road miles and provides fresh produce
• Work towards attaining a recognised Environmental Accreditation

Our Environmental commitment will be achieved by raising the environmental awareness of our staff and by ensuring good environmental practice is incorporated into all our daily activities.
This Environmental Policy will be reviewed regularly in order to facilitate continued improvements.
